This is a coin silver sugar bowl with lid made by Ball, Black, & Co from New York. It is dated c. 1850. The bowl is extremely detailed with Asian influenced engravings engulfing the entire piece. A man holding a pipe figurine sits on top of the lid. Beautiful handles are attached to either side of the bowl. A monogram is present in the center of the piece. It sits at a height of 9 inches and a troy weight of 23.4 ounces. Great piece!
